What type of services do you offer?
We can create custom birth announcements, birthday invitations, graduation announcements, invitations for baby showers, baptisms, bridal showers, save the date, graduation parties, any design need that you may have! What ever you can think of, we can create a card or invitation for it. Everything we offer is custom. We will work with you to create the design that is exactly what you are looking for.
How much are the designs?
Each design is $25.00, one flat rate for ALL of our custom designs! More details on pricing are on the "Order" page. If you have questions for pricing other services, please feel free to email me.
Can I change up an example and make it my own?
YES! ALL our designs can be cusomized. I want you to be 100% satisfied with the end result. These are your announcements/invitations and we want them to be exactly what you want.
What type of payments do you accept?
We prefer PayPal, but accept money orders or cashiers checks. We will not email you the final high resolution design until AFTER payment is received. Dimpled Bottom Designs is a verified PayPal merchant!
Will you print the design for me?
We currently do not offer any printing services. However, if you need help with this process we will be more than happy to help you.
Where can I get my designs printed?
Many places print out good quality photos for decent prices. Wal-mart, Shutterfly, Snapfish, Winkflash and numerous others will allow you to upload pictures (your design) online. They will print and ship them to you or you can even pick them up in person. You can even use Wal-mart's 1 hour photo service, have your design printed and you can mail them in a matter of hours!
Will you send me my design on a CD?
We do not send out your design on a CD. However, if you would like to have the design burned to a CD by us and sent to you, we can do it for a small fee. Please email us for fees.
How long does it take to get my design?
You will receive a digital proof in 1-2 days or less from the time of your order. Once it is approved and payment is received, a printable version will be sent to you immediately via email.
What kind of picture should I use?
A high resolution digital photo is best. We need at least 300 dpi for optimum printing. Please make sure that if you are scanning the photos, that your scanner is set to the maximum pixels per inch, 300. If you send a photo that would not be suitable to use, we will let you know.
Am I limited on what fonts I can choose?
Absolutely not! I have hundreds of fonts to choose from. You are not limited in choosing from only a few fonts. I will choose a font for your project that will best suite the design. If there is a special font that you would like, please ask and I will try to accomodate.
Should I alter the photo first before sending to you?
NO! We prefer unaltered photographs. Please don't crop the photo we will make any necessary adjustments to help the photo look its best in the design you have chosen. Any color photograph can be made into black and white or sepia. Please let us know if this is the look you desire.
Can I send you a picture from the photo CD I got from the photo lab?
It is best that your photo does not come from the photo CDs that most photo labs give you when they process your prints. The resolution of the pictures on the CDs are low resolution, and will not result in a good print.
Can we use professional photos in the design?
Yes. If the photographer has given you a signed release to use the images, then yes. Just provide us with an original copy (NO EMAILED or FAXED COPIES) of the document, and we can use those photos in any design. If you do not have a release form, then we cannot use those photos in a design. You may contact us via email for mailing information if you use this option.
What sizes do you make?
The standard sizes are 4x6 or 5x7. But we can make any size that suites your needs.
Am I allowed to alter the image?
No, the image is our work and under copyright. But the final design is yours and you may print off as many copies as you'd like.
Can you make designs that do not contain photos?
YES! If you'd like a design that is just text or text with graphics, it can be created. Again, we can create anything you would like.
Do you charge extra for photo editing?
NO! We will enhance your photos and make it the best it can be. We can edit the color, make it black and white, do color selection (black and white with color accents), fix imperfections, sharpen the photo, reduce red-eye, blur or even remove the background etc. This service is all included FREE with all designs.
